This is What Decaying is Like
The West--and eventually mankind on Earth--is not supposed to survive forever. When people of the West think it is bad that the West (and eventually mankind on Earth) will not survive, that is a narcissistic fantasy. It is a narcissistic fantasy because thinking it is bad not good when environments cycle is like saying that your environment is the only one, rather than just one of many.
Making out that your place, what happened to you, is unique, is part of why it is narcissistic. Think of how Jesusianism repeated in several ways in its story how Earth was the center, how Jesus specifically created the humans on Earth, and so on. If you haven't read the Bible, there are lots of reasons people think that, but an easy one is that the Bible says the Earth has four corners. Very simply, if you have never seen a big flat-topped rectangle cover part of the moon during an eclipse, then you have probably seen that the Earth is generally round.
Here it should be mentioned that there are many good people who feel correctly that modern Western society is stupid, wrong, bad, etc. in the way that it narcissistically proclaims it has great knowledge and is right. It is wrong. However, that does not mean the old version of Christianity (as expressed in the Bible) is correct either. Just like with how the false dichotomy is useful in making it appear that the invisible, all powerful rabbi (S.R.) lives in the sky, the stupid wrong badness of modern culture does not mean that an earlier version of that wrong is good or correct. Europe did have official rabbi-worship a thousand years ago, that is true--however, 2000 years ago, 2500 years ago, 3000 years ago, and so forth it had a growing population, no immigration, the death penalty for people who used children for orgasming, and no worship of a Middle Eastern rabbi. It is massively self centered--in the Christian style, of course--to equate something that happened between 1600 and 1000 years ago with the traditions of Europe. By the same token, it is foolish to think that the Earth is really flat because idiots now think both that the Earth is like a sphere and that transpeople are truly what they pretend to be. No, people thinking that crossdressing equals changing are as correct as some elephant-trainer at the zoo believing he has become an elephant. If he starts walking around pretending his arm is a trunk and drinking by dipping his head into ponds, it is funny and like when a transwoman wins a track meet held for female competitors. When that same idiot tries to mount and hump at some elephant, she probably pounds the hell out of him with her real trunk (it's probably hate speech to say that on some planet of human-intelligent elephants), and then maybe steps on him a few times and there is no more transelephant. Unfortunately, repressed transbears here are filled with phobias, hatred, and discrimination, and won't spend time making private love to bears here! If they just did, we could make some real progress! It would make such a delightful movie of a committed transbear with some plastic vampire teeth and sections of fur duct-taped all over him going up to a female grizzly and starting the process of making sweet love to her. Because of prejudice, this planet suffers from the dearth of transbearality. If we just had that fixed, it would help straighten out so much.
It was very easy for everyone to have seen pre-modern-times that the Earth was round and that the little lights up there moved in certain ways during nighttime [planets]. Like saying the verse was not infinite but was a united verse [universe] beginning at a certain time [which was 7000 years once but is now longer which has tricked very many people into thinking there is a difference], there were other attempts at focusing consideration on Earth in a narcissistic way. The personified matter-avoidance-person gave his name to Jesusian Christianity, and the revised genesis story gave its name to Bangist Christianity.
Like fabricating a history where people in Europe used to believe in animal-men the same way Christians wanted them to love and hope to be with a man in a loincloth, Europeans looked at and knew about other planets in the solar system for a long time before stories about a rabbi from the Middle East made them stop. The way that Christianity has held back aeronautics, spaceflight, and so on is massive. Just like Earthlings could have been building colonies on Mars in CE900 instead of speculating about imaginary crap like what kind of breakfast-cereal Jesus liked best, very many things were changed in a big way by Christianity.
What seems to be the inexplicable stupidity of all those women who don't want to be raped complaining about Trump has happened before. Think about how magnificently, immensely stupid it is/was to believe that there are no other planets because your sky friend made everything go around the Earth. Stupid, yes. That kind of behavior happens because it is part of the cycling of environments. People believing those stupid things can no more help it than Decay can help being Decay. Yes, causing the society on which they rely to decay will hurt them a lot, eventually even kill them, but they have to do it. (Just like when you drop a pencil and it has to fall down, parts of an environment [like Earth] are made that way. The idea that how we think, how we decide in what to believe, is independent of our environment, is a narcissistic delusion.)
The Earth is an environment. Sol creates an environment. Even the Milky Way creates an environment (of course it create many, just as there are a lot of other galaxies out there doing the same). When Sol red giants, Earth and everything on it will be gone. That is not a sad or monumental thing, but a banal thing. That is what happens to planets going around a star when that star runs low on fuel. As part of that process, other environments will be created, other heavy elements the same, and there will be new environments and new things on those environments. You yourself would think that some of those things will be, and have been, quite pleasant.
Sickened dark fantasies of centrism (such as geocentric and temporal compression as expressed in Christianity, both in Jesusianism and only the latter in Bangism) are not true. So, even though what are called immigrants will destroy the societies that can host them, you should not despair. It will not be pleasant to go through, but it will happen. Has happened before too. Will again.
