Those Darn Infidels

It provides a good example of controlled opposition how Islamists can fault the U.S.  There is no Allah, anymore than there is a Sky Rabbi--those are abysmally stupid stories that will never be evidenced.  However, by creating a bunch of genuine idiots doing truly idiotic things, and inspiring people to say that Allah is surely against those things, it can make it appear like there is evidence for Allah.  

Take people who say Allah watches from above (or modern version: from within).  He doesn't.  If you pair that with evidence that some incredibly stupiferous thing is happening in the West, the combination of "Allah" and "evidence" can make a lot of people feel that there is evidence for Allah.  It's very much the same as with S.R.  Surgeons don't find Allah/Jesus within, spaceships don't find Allah/Jesus in the sky, BUT Imam promises people America is degenerate.  A bunch of guys clap when some attractive celebrity loses her shirt to the thresher during the Harvest Championship, and the imam then can seem to have proof that Allah has cursed the West.  A week passes, 6 weeks pass, and then the hottie gets a new skirtsuit and a $14 million book deal about the time she lost her shirt.  Allah seems even more plausible to those people.  Another week, and then everyone's amazed when the maintenance guy on that thresher comes out, says he's just a simple farmgirl but then someone gave her a shirt that was perfect.  Two days later and the government is paying that farmgirl's boyfriend $35 million to do a self-report study about the hardships of dating a transperson (he loses the papers and he doesn't gotta computer so we'll never know).  Things turn out just fine because for only $417 million they can do a comprehensive study about the perils (known all too well) experienced by dogs owned by transpeople--that farmgirl actually doesn't have a dog, but the boyfriend does, and that dog knows three other dogs, one of whom lives near a farm where they have four dogs.  OK that guy got his shotgun when we tried to interview them, but we picked up these other dogs at the pound and you could just tell they knew that boyfriend's one so we've got plenty of info for the study.  

Anyway, Imam has a very committed flock, and even that guy who didn't believe at the start does now.  There is so much, it's obvious what happens to the people forsaken by Allah.  

Just like the irrelevant crap about S.R., evidence of bad behavior does not in the slightest way have the tiniest scrap of sweat on the ass-hair that fell off last week of relationship to the issue.  There will always be lots of proof that some group of people has something about them that can appear bad and used as fake proof that the opposition to that is real.  That is the false dichotomy of the Jesusian style.

Mass-Murder of Children

Jahweh--Yahweh, Jehovah, or Jesus--is a terrible character.  Luckily the Bible is fiction, because if there were such a character of penultimate foulness/power as the biblical Father (S.R.; Jesus; God), that character would be so terribly evil and powerful that resisting him would be the only possible good action.   Is This a Test?
