Counseurvautiveu Party
The quandary over the Conservative Party in the UK (to which they might well add the letter U because they like that, e.g. flavour, labour, and favour) is that Gordon Brown allowed massive immigration after he was elected PM for promises to end immigration, which promises he promptly broke. Britain exited the EU for that reason (Brexit). Still, the people didn't get what they wanted.
Why? It's the same old question of decay. People trying to explain this behavior while preserving their unspoken, unknown assumption that a person's sense of self is generated throughout decades of old brain cells dying and being replaced by new ones think it is irrational. As a result, you get stupid impossible stories, such as that an invisible rabbi in the sky had total power, made everything, but also made this entity against him, doing things SR made him to do and knowing he would do and if He can move that rock than He can't make a rock so big so <error sound>
Anyway, the Jesusian story is that Satan makes bad things happen.
The other version is that hites (the W so small you can't see it; Blacks get different treatment for completely random saiuntific expert-focus-grouped reasons) have won a contest of the selfish gene and therefore got pathological altruism.
(There are lots of really cool theories about how that developed, just like there are a lot of really cool stories about Satan. but they suffer from the flaw of how a struggle for survival favored someone wanting to hurt her- or himself.)
Satan or pathological altruism are both fictional explanations in the attempt to bridge a gap. Like, if you wrote a story called "The Big Gap" and had the hero either practice super jumping skills or become friends with these tiny munchkin engineers who built a jillion-mile-long bridge across said big gap, that would be fiction. I.e. pretend. That's what Satan and Pathological Altruism are.
Those are both wrong. The idea that an invisible god-man made the world and all space in one tight burst is amazingly stupid, but it is also amazingly stupid (and mathematically impossible) that things turned out perfectly suited to this one viable planet because of random good luck. As with the empty spiritless non-explanation for self-awareness non-provided by Bangist Christianity, Jesusian Christianity is able to appear smarter. There is no reason for morals in Bangism, so that can make this incredibly stupiferous, magnificently stupitastic philosophy that "this amazing rabbi had a cosmigasm that made everything" seem, by comparison, sensible. People recognize a fundamental gap in the rationalization for "good v. bad," and they need to cover that. So, like some idiot framing guy, they carefully pat down mud where mortar should be, then there isn't a Rapture in CE50, nothing again in CE100, nothing in CE1000 nothing again in CE1629, they're still promising it in CE2000, it doesn't happen but you really should join my church now because it'll happen eventually for sure...as they say, Jesus!
