Can't Be Anything But Decay
The only explanation is decay. Decay. People think things because they are part of an environment. They actually believe (at the right time) that by destroying where they live they are doing a good thing that will help where they live!
This happens because people are just components of environments--call this one the West--where human societies have to die so that (an)other(s) can be born.
A popular counter to such things is to say "That bad person wants to destroy <Place XYZ>!" Sometimes, that is true. However, sometimes it is not--people, generally White people, actually believe they are doing good, helpful things for their own place. Some people have been bought, some actually are Decay, but the vast majority of them believe that doing bad/harmful things is good/helpful!
Easy example again: think of a White woman demanding that anti-immigrant measures be stopped even though she is 110% against rape. You know she doesn't want to be raped, and you know by looking at her--you could test her friggin' DNA--she isn't Decay. So you conclude she's uninformed. If that woman were to read 100 articles and talk to 100 victims, though, she would still feel she should do those things! Endless (stupid) striving to inform people happens because of this. Like centuries of idiots trying to invent flapping devices that made the user fly before the Wright brothers, though, such attempts are destined for failure (even though they can eat up decades and produce a lot of essays, such as essays like this one).
