Cat Ladies

The "cat lady" represents a trope where the individual gains needed affection from cats.  From what does that need for affection originate?  Children, of course.  The aging woman who meets her need for feeling part of a society of many others is expressing a need for the grandkids that her kids were supposed to have.  

This use of substitutions for human needs can be expressed also in what is called gay marriage.  Because "gay" orgasmic behavior never produces children, the notion that fulfilling relationships and life-purpose can be found in a gay relationship is the same thing.  You can find things like cat ladies and gays politically united--supporting the same causes because they are like two groups seeking needed sustenance from the same leaky pipe.  

The cat is not a baby anymore than the asshole is a vagina.  The loving environment of a bunch of humans being together is not to be found in a group of cats, nor is the productive partnership of two parents duplicated by two men.  Even though the different things can be claimed to be just as good as what they mimic, the asshole never gives birth (but sometimes gives poop).  The fundamental contradiction--the impossibility--is what is being actually sought, in the same way of the people who call themselves some version of saved or liberated.  They are of course hypocrites; the person who says she will be saved by Jesus can dig up as many graves as she likes and find out that Jesus has never once and never will take matter away.  The bodies (or what is left of them) are all still there.  

The intrabuttressing (cross-supportive?) nature of gayness and cat ladyness can be examined by you.  Do you think you see that people supporting what they call homosexual rights and childfree (childless) lifestyles are linked somehow?
