Decay is Total

 It Happens to All Things

Think of societies on Earth.  Think of the one in which you probably live--a society which for a long time maintained the ethnicity and culture produced by the mixed offspring of Cro Magnons and Neanderthals--Europeoids; Whites--known as "the West" (a.k.a. Whites in Usica or Western Europe).  Like it is with human bodies, Decay has always been in that same environment, at first in such tiny numbers it was negligible, but then increasing gradually.  The agents of decay of one human body "infected" each human shortly after it was born, along with lots of other types of bacteria that were symbiotic with that human for its life.  E.g. the digestive tract of that human got filled with the predecessors of things that, a few thousand generations later of its type, could break down things that human ate as solid food.  Were a human acting alone, the human could not do this.  

One of the more recent battles of Christianity with reality is seen in popular conceptions of abortion--this thing that was created to benefit profiteers.  The relationship between a female human and her potential offspring has been monetized in horrible, greedy (natch--"monetized") ways.  "Obstetricians" are so named because that field was sold as "standing between" women and the sensations ("pain") of birthing.  The idea that a woman giving birth should have someone "stand between" her and birth is very Christian; just like people are supposed to be "saved" from the life cycle, human females birthing offspring should be protected from the process by an obstetrician.  

The treatment of astronomy is a very simple demonstration of how Christianity repressed empiricism for a very long time (as humans living less than 200 years tend to think of a long time).  However, the doctrine of maintaining human bodies--what is now called medical science--should be considered in this light.  Just as it was difficult or impossible for many Europeans deceived by Christianity to contemplate what they were missing out on by not building space-ships as a step toward, say, a really cool colony on some non-Earth place, it is now for many of their descendants difficult or impossible to contemplate what is lost by fetishizing and monetizing "medical science" in the same way.  The official disregard of nutrition, and the making prominent expensive treatment of various baddies, can be exemplified by the word "obstetrics."  Standing between people made of matter and matter is naturally seen in societies infected by matter-denial worship of a savior from matter--a christ.  

The pretense of digestion is similar.  Humans can't digest all their food, which shows that they and those bacteria are components of an environment.  Recall again Christian priests refusing to look through Galileo's telescope--the notion that you are this discrete thing, that the soul is generated by your onsite brain cells, is thoroughly Christian.  (Christianity; Saviorianity--a philosophy of it being good that a person is separate from matter; an anti-matter system of belief.  People taking probiotics for digestive health is related to the symbiosis of the human digestive tract and the bacteria of the environment show this interrelationship.  It took profiteers a few centuries, but now they're marketing extra food to help the gut-fauna.  Pass the collection plate.)  

Breaking Down

The process of Decay always being there means that the West will always have interacted with it just like your immune system does with the microbes that start to win and get everything when you die--which microbes then die too.  Despite the "victory" of decay, its purpose is completed, so its death happens also.  The way that these organisms keep doing things that way is still more proof that things exist as components of their environment, not as standalone individuals--consider how you yourself, your ability to think right now, is integrated with that also.  

If you are trying to understand the process of the decline of the West (haha), of its decay, then you should reflect upon the history of the West.  There should have been a recurrent "conflict," but never a decisive one, between the West and decay--like unto the immune system constantly winning battles.  After a long time, which is like unto the process of aging, the immune systems gets weaker, then weaker--eventually it loses entirely, the West dies, and then decay dies also.  (Or some gross vulture eats the corpse, decay moves to that, the vulture flies somewhere, decay lands somewhere else, and the cycle goes on.  Yeah, fine, but then everything else dies off, there's nothing at all to eat, and decay's descendants just starve.)  

It can seem sad, the process of decay.  As to human societies, decay will be this persistent, filthy thing, incessantly trying to break things down.  Various useful idiots will fall for various tricks, thinking that breaking down the underpinnings of their own support system is actually helping that support system.  Decay will be influential and get lots of rewards (wealthy), and it will suck.  However, remember that, like the parasite/predator, that only lasts as long as there are hosts/prey.  Once Decay's work is done, maybe there if another thing to decay, and so it goes and does that.  At some point, though, everything has died, there is nothing, and Decay has nothing off which to feed.  They die, too.  

Success is Failure

Understand the way Decay work.  They're like understanding the way your mind/sense of self/self-awareness/self consciousness/soul is not generated by the shifting, apoptosic collection of cells that during your time here is associated with, and which you probably associate with your brain.  The apoptosic (afflicted with apoptosis) nature of "your" brain makes no sense to most people here/now, just like to most people here/now the suicidal behavior of people refusing to see that X, Y, or Z are destroying their societies.  

The available conclusions are: 

A) Sky Rabbi wants to see how good you behave, and He can make a rock so big He WOW LOOK OVER THERE A YELLOW CAR!

B) The genes coding for how your cells will be made are completely selfish, and the winners in that contest were the ones programmed to die because WOW LOOK OVER THERE A GREEN CAR!

...or

C) Parts of the environment pass through cycles where they produce societies which wax and wane, get born and die, etc.  

Clearly, those lights up in the sky mean something, evolution wasn't random, and Christianity has been repressing humans investigating those things.  Rabbi-worship, a.k.a. Christianity, is part of the process of breaking down the human societies of the West.
