Robber Barons

When I think about Jesus, I think about how every man should be with Him.  He is a loving man, and all good men should love Him truly.  Only these weird sickos don't love the idea of being with a divine man who loves them, and the highest hope of any man is to travel to His paradise to be with Him forever after death.  The great things that--oh, the Ists.

OK I'll let the Ists talk, but first I have to remind everyone that there are great activities for the women while the Lord is loving all men, like skeeball, and bingo and prizes, and there's a choir you can sing in, and--okay, Ists.

Freedom of Association

The “robber barons” controlling the Catholic Church and public perceptions of Bangism—the media, and powerful governments of the later nineteenth century and beyond—were responsible for effecting the transition from Jesusian Christianity to Bangist Christianity.  Part of attacking the West was breaking up groups of people (nations--think of how formally despised are the ultimate baddies, the national socialists) while claiming that Jesusianism was about freedom.  Free associations always win, and Europe before Christian infection was a series of nations, which Jesus' egalitarianism was meant to break up.  Thus the universal (Catholic) church, the various rebellions against this (now called wars about how to better serve S.R.), and later the E.U. and the U.N.  Regarding the battle between freedom and Christian egalitarianism, think of how kindly freedom-supporting governments allow property-owners to only sell to certain groups.

The pretense of freedom is maintained, and this freedom is what the governments of the West claim to exemplify.  This foul pretense is why much recent history (focusing here on Usica, because what was done across Europe is over a millennia old and tends to not be documented as well) tells tales of clever, hard-working rich geniuses obtaining wealth.

Getting Rich

The official story is that the variety of capitalism practiced by the rich heirs controlling the market via governments produced random, best-possible results.  This claim is almost directly paralleled by the tenets of the Jesusian variant of the Christian religion about noble lines and land ownership in Europe, and the tenets of the Bangist variant of the Christian religion about how laws and very wealthy people appeared.

This kind of situation can show the thinker why tumors do not in fact cure cancer; why an earlier form of Christianity is not a renewal, a European tradition of our forebears, but merely an earlier form of the ideological toxin of the things you can now more readily identify as bad.  Home oh philosophy is antilife; so is replacing all the figurines of women and families with that of a then-naked now-merely-underclad writhing man.  Trains no eye nonsense is too.  Attacks on the family, state ownership of the means of property, government-run grocery stores, etc.  Bangist Christianity is a nasty, bad, threatening thing, but it is just a modernized version of the terrible things that Legacy Christianity did.  Jesus' egalitarianism, His anti-rich screeds, and His disavowal of private property ownership laid the foundation for the bad things you now see.  Evolution having achieved a random possible result that just so happened to be perfectly attuned to Earth is stupid, but so is saying that a Middle Eastern rabbi (who is invisible and all powerful) made the world and is your special invisible friend who loves you and will kick everyone's ass because He's definitely coming back to kick ass next week next year next decade next century next millennia someday.

Aristocratic lines, many modern coagulations of extreme wealth and political power, are based upon this same type of procedure.  If you don't like the way that the supervillain Bill Gates comes up with gigantic demonic schemes to poison the world and kill huge numbers of people, it is easy to go a step back and consider where his money came from: by the U.S. government standardizing purchase of his associated overpriced low-quality crash-happy G.U.I. so that every County, State, City, and Fedgov office had to buy it, along with every private citizen who wanted to be ready to open and send properly formatted documents to this or that court.

Like we said, doing Gates is easy.  That was how Microsoft built huge wealth.  Harder, though, is if we apply the same analysis to Standard Oil.  Why did the U.S. Army clear Amerindian tribes off certain land and enforce certain drilling claims?  Same thing, so go back farther.  Why did Lord Suchandsuch get to rule 40,000 acres in France and why did he get all the people there as his slaves, their kids becoming his pedo targets all the people there get uplifted by him and taught about the wonders of Jesus in exchange for becoming his serfs?

...Same thing.  This has been the C.E. ever since Jesusianism took Europe.  The private fortunes are often created the same way that the collectively managed stockpiles of the U.S.S.R. and other societies where people focused on the joy of the God-fearing person's worker's paradise--giant hordes of resources controlled by a select group.

Random Mutation

As said, the great wealth narratives mimic the Bangist random evolution story, pronouncing that the “fittest” succeeded through an open biological marketplace.  It is all but impossible for anyone called a victor in this struggle to believe that, actually, it was not a free marketplace but one that had been designed by their progenitors to provide for their success at the expense of those who hadn’t been given a fair shot.  It is thus viewed akin to a verbal attack by most believers to challenge “random evolution.”  Ironically, adherents to the previous universalism (Jesusian Christianity) are most willing to challenge the newest form of that idiocy (Bangist Christianity).

The similarity here between the popular stories of evolution and free markets is notable.  In free markets, people may imagine that they are free thinkers, deciding for themselves what to buy.  People who know marketing know that little hints and mentions of what to buy can change what happens, i.e., can cause people to want to buy something.  Socially, the same motivations operate, dictating a degree of whom a person likes for companionship, sex, etc.  The unintelligent person is able to flatter her- or him-self that the choice is made independently when it is actually environmental.  Like a rat in a cage or the loser in a chess game, the subject can think she is acting independently when actually she is being guided to behave certain ways.

(The way that people think they are making independent choices—having independent feelings—and the way that people think life on Earth evolved randomly through survival of the fittest, are related.  The incorrect belief that there is no relationship between the environment in which an organism lives, and how that organism changes to fit better in that environment, is this.)

Referendums

Politics, too, is marketing.  Selecting voting representatives who appear on television, or directly referending upon issues using facts presented via media, are the same.  Think of the way that people can choose between Labour and Tory, Democrat v. Republican, or even many others, but they are just choosing window dressing to make it appear that they control things.  People could have full voting on every little issue via wristband, and still not be free because they are led into thinking they are free because they can choose between any one of the two, three, 16, etc., options the media presents.  The belief that they are choosing independently is treasured, and people will fight hard to retain that belief.

The trait of humans to insist that ridiculous consensuses to which they have conformed are rational is like this: people believe they are defending that they have free will.  As people believe that they have chosen their friends, spouses, cars, other selectable products, etc., via means other than those actually employed, the belief that decisions are not environmental will be insisted upon.

Independent Thinkers

Marketing can be very instructive as to evolution.  People, even people with P.S.V.S. (Ph.D.s, M.D.s, J.D.s, etc.), can insist, can truly believe, they’re making their own decisions while not doing so.  Their decisions to buy gum, buy soft drinks, vote for Jones, etc., is very often based on accessibility and message, not upon deliberation.  Yet, people can so cling to the myth that they are free thinkers that they can independently insist that they make decisions without any of that.  Thus, people will very forcefully insist that there is an invisible rabbi in the sky who controls the world.  They will do horrible things to maintain that illusion—every decision made prior is being defended on the basis of that belief.

Similarly, people will insist that cells mutate randomly.  It is impossible for things to have happened that way, but they will still insist upon it.  In defiance of mathematics, they will so insist.  To human beings trying to prove they’re independent, “mathematics” loses every time to “everything I ever did.”  Like earlier Christianities, the belief in Lord Randomus will persist for a very long time.
