The Devil's Greatest Trick

Every self-aware entity is cursed/blessed with the state of existing forever.  Consider the principle "the conservation of matter," and paired with that, the even simpler principle that energy is also conserved.  So simple; no one will probably ever bother to make a theory about it.  Things in the verse do not end--cannot end.  That includes things like you--your soul, or "sense of self" cogito ergo sum, or however else you might prefer to name it.  

Next consider the question of whether the soul is brain-generated (Bangism) or Middle East-generated (Jesusianism).  It isn't; the thing of which you think as you is neither, but people are recurrently drawn to such narcissistic fantasies.  More truly, "your" soul is not generated by the endlessly dying and switching molecules of your brain, nor by a man in no or later skimpy clothing who had a crowd watch Him hurt for hours because He loves you so much.  

Rather than the popular Christian fantasies, the piece of soul you have is able to attach to your brain while that brain is alive, because the pieces of matter (so many of them; like, billions) are arranged in a suitable way.  A piece of a memory-generator which we call a soul can then attach to that brain and generate memories.  Those are what Earth produces; viable planets are things which turn a star's energy into memories.  

Selling You What You Already Have

There is a story about a single man wanting to love you, or you choosing something else.  There's some wiggle room there for females to choose that one and it not being a "gay" choice, but think about it through the lens of child-production that drives healthy men to prefer women instead of a loving man: babies.  That single man never has a girlfriend, His mom was a virgin, and the story says He created life by a single man-burst.  Christianity is thoroughly antilife, against everything that good women like.  

So the choice comes down to two: desiring that man, or something else?  Again, it's a lot simpler, more visceral, of a choice for men.  In the same way that women are just built at least a million times better'n men at taking care of babies, men are built with telling the difference at a glance.  So, where do you prefer to be?  

Most men will face a very, totally different, existential choice between whether they want to be held closely by a loving man forever or something else.  The way that the modern trend of demeaning the family, the extolling of home oh and childfree lifestyles, etc. is really trying to sell death disguised in S.R.'s niceness provides another way for Jesusians to see why happened the banning and insulting goddess/family images of "paganism."  Like trains no eye stuff runs cover for child genital abuse performed by a mix of the dangerous and the sickos, Jesusianism itself runs cover for that same kind of dangerous sickness.  

A man wanting to be with a Divine Man who gives him Divine Love eternally, ignoring or hiding away the images of women and families, is recognized today as a bad, often sexually perverted thing, but that recognition is sadly, ironically, done by Jesusians.  They do not see the very express badness of "a man wanting to spend forever being close to the best man" compared to "a man liking women instead."
