Corresponding

There was this one time where we all got together and bent over to Jesus.  It was so great, and we were absolutely filled by His wonderful Grace.  While that was happening, the lube got left open, and…oh, Ists.  Here goes:

Think again of why Sky Rabbi’s creationary act seems necessary for morals within a system of thought that lacks a reason for why not to hurt people.  What is lacking is, as aforementioned, environmental correspondence.  Something so basic as that components of an environment, even individually aware components, should not damage the system whereby they themselves exist, is absent from modern Bangist Christianity (as expressed through modern atheism, agnosticism, science-worship, etc.).

(This is how modern Bangist Christians are decidedly inferior to Jesusian Christians.  Bangists do not have an intellectually spelled-out reason for morals, while the Jesusian Christians do.  It is a stupid reason, depending on an invisible sky person who doesn’t exist, but even a stupid reason beats no reason at all.)

Here is how environmental correspondence gives a reason for morals without worshiping a rabbi (i.e. S.R.): environments create life.  Thus, damaging life (such as murder, non-murder hurting, theft of property) is antilife, e.g. is against life.  Throwing a baby down a well to kill it is antilife; pushing an adult into a well to break her or his leg is antilife.

The use of S.R. to underpin all moral systems is similarly loaded.  One does not push/drop people into wells because it would frustrate S.R.’s purpose.  Satan would theoretically approve of such actions, therefore one may make oneself good i.e. godly by not performing such actions and by doing other things which please Jesus a.k.a. S.R. a.k.a. Yahweh a.k.a. God.  One is therefore faithful or heretical, with which concepts hundreds of years of massive propaganda have caused us to link good and evil.

Absent the need for S.R., things done in the furtherance of life are good and things done against life are bad.  All without taking into account S.R.’s dietary preferences for what you should eat, his status as a rabbi, or the wish that you like him.  Sexually molesting children, even children who are offered ice cream to say yes, is antilife, i.e. evil, because making use of that child’s body prior to that child attaining sexual maturity and providing consent causes damage to the life-making and/or -living process.  A very nice/small criminal could argue for a lack of physical damage, but the mental damage would still be there.  The physical components of that damage are possibly very small, possibly very large, but it is, however done, against life; evil.

(Think of the way that the word “evil” is “live” spelled backwards.  Things which are opposite to the furtherance of life are against life; are antilife; are evil.  That inversion is why S.R. is designed to save people from the material world—he is, much like Marx, anti-life.  To be saying you are saved/free from life is quite literally to say you are anti-life.)

Stealing a very small amount of money from someone while they look the other way is the same—bad.  Maybe only a little bad, but still bad.  The freedom of each person to decide what she or he will do, including what she or he will possess, is a very tiny part of the process of consciousness, in which we all partake and with which we are all familiar.  Damaging that freedom, even in a very small way, is bad—is wrong…is a less dramatic form of evil.  Such damage may become not small, but quite large, in time.  For example, if there are several billion people on a planet, and if each of those people has sex at least once during their life, that is a lot of sex.  Billions and billions of acts of potential creation.  Interfering in that, even very slightly, could lead to a person feeling she or he does not have enough money to venture to the cinema, at which cinema she or he meets a potential mate.  The grandchild of an encounter linked to that encounter may eventually produce a great grandchild who cures a life-threatening disease which saves the life of a girl whose great grandchild is the only person to figure out how to have some people escape the meteor shower which destroys all life on Earth.

Any number of examples can be imagined which explain why theft is antilife; why it is bad.

Is birth control evil?  No, because someone deciding to obtain pleasure via sex without caring at all for a baby is not evil.  However, advocating for the use of birth control can be evil when it is done in order to cause people to not produce life.

(One could so advocate and so be evil even if that person were advocating for a population that did not heed her or him.  In the same way, one could encourage to commit murder a person who does not actually commit murder; the advocate is committing evil whether or not heeded.)

As Earthlings have finally developed spaceships and found out that there is definitely not a S.R. watching them from above, those who wish to worship a super-being in the shape of a human are desperate to create a reason why the S.R. books (the “Bible” et al.) are not irrelevant.  Saying S.R. is necessary for morals to exist is one such attempt.  This, though, is incorrect.  Jahweh/Jesus/God is not necessary for morals.
