You Like Decay

It is so great that so many churches have those statues of Jesus right up there on the True Cross when He is wearing only a True Loincloth!  Staring at them, the way young men should do—they shouldn’t be tempted to look at sinful things like pretty young women instead, but should focus on Jesus in His True Loincloth—is so great.  And, we suppose that girls should look at Jesus statues too.  That’s good.  But it would be so cool if Jesus just lost His True Loincloth and let everyone know into what kind of building they had come.  Oh, if we imagine, even the ladies, just imagine how great it would be if the wind blew hard and Jesus freed His bulge by losing His True Loi—whoops.  Ists:

Any proponent of truth seems to be against the Christian takeover of Earthly humanity, but in fact Ists are not.  True Ists support Christianity, just as they support microorganisms who extract useful molecules from feces.

Not “support” in the financial sense.  Jeebus!  Nor in the voting sense; whatever (voting doesn’t matter; they’re giving it exactly as much power as a loving man takes care of you forever when you die anyway--they’re not going to let you dig yourself out of this hole).  Just quietly, privately, thinking, “That’s a good thing.  Even though I don’t like smelling it, I have to admit it’s a good thing.”

Ists don’t want to be around such microorganisms/humans/etc., but Ists are very glad that those microorganisms are out there doing their thing with feces.  Ists don’t want a world filled with shit better put undecayed feces.*  You don’t either, so you support what universalists are doing even though you don’t want to smell or massage your face with the shit.

(*If the undecayed feces identified as a nice sandwich, should you eat them to prove you're not shitist?  No; you probably never want to eat them.  That distinction between things as they actually are and what someone believes doesn't just show why trains no eye stories are ridiculous.  It shows that "faith" is ridiculous.  The notion that you should believe things for which there is no evidence is part of what Jesusianism did to Europe.  The trains no eye modern version of that is the same type of "reality is what I say I think it is" as earlier "the invisible, all powerful friend I have in the sky wants XYZ to happen," which is ironic considering that modern Jesusians are likely against trains no eye stuff.  It is painful for some of them, extremely difficult if not impossible, but they should see the connection between thinking "It is good to believe in things for which there isn't evidence" and some man saying "I am a woman because I identify as a woman."  The derision you feel when you recognize trains no eye  nonsense should prompt you to recognize that you have yourself been deceived into saying your invisible sky-friend will give you nice things when you die.)

Why do things decay?  Think of the poop again.  If creatures cannot consume things which they cannot completely turn into energy for running their bodies, they cannot eat.  All the plants and animals—all of the animals that consume those plants to live and grow, and all of the plants that consume those dead animals to live and grow—are part of that system.  The environment corresponds to everything within that environment.  Because of that environmental correspondence, many things can eat and live.  (If you believe you are independent, not part of an environment, try to not piss for three weeks and see what happens.)  All of the cuisines, all of the enjoyment in human taste, is caused by the ability of humans to break usable calories apart from things which cannot be used.  Those things which cannot be used are then excreted, therefore a population of creatures—including humans—can exist.  If you can think of even one person of whom you like the existence, such as yourself, then you understand why it is so important that decay happens.  Because if you didn’t exist, there would be none of you falling in love, none of you hearing great symphonies, none of you seeing nice paintings, etc.  All of that—every single good thing ever—depends on decay.

What is decay?  It is the process whereby the environment uses—the popular modern term is “recycles”—the things within that environment.  In the same way that molecules can only form by atoms discriminating between the different types of atoms, decay is totally necessary for life to happen.  So, when things break up bodies, it seems really bad, really nasty, but it is actually very nice.  This means that when Decay break up a human society, Decay is actually doing a very good thing.

The agents of decay can be wrong, bad, etc., but what they are doing is still itself good.  Like poop, it is a very good thing around which you very much do not want to be.  The bad smell (it being unpleasant for poop to be around), the hypothetically bad taste, it being also hypothetically quite unpleasant for one to roll a turd lovingly around one’s hands, etc., are components of this.  However, it must be again, and again, and again remembered: it is good that there is poop.

Believing that there is no poop is foolish.  There is poop, and that poop is unpleasant, but it is a good and necessary thing.  Life could not exist without the recirculation of matter.  Think of death.  Death is frequently unpleasant, it is something that you very legitimately don’t want to be around, but you are extremely glad that it happens.  Extremely glad.

Extremely.  Just like you are very glad that there is poop but do not in the slightest like poop, it is the same about death.  Decay is difficult like that.  You are very glad that so many billions of things have died over the course of millions and millions of years in order to permit the existence of an environment where everyone you have ever loved or even liked, and everything you have ever favored, could exist.

That is why you like decay.  You want it to happen.  You approve of it happening.

You do not want to touch poop.  Nor corpses.  By all means, rebel against them if you want to.  You will fail, but that is fine—rebel against them if you want to.
